HEATHER FINCH

Making Connections with Delta Creative’s CEO

Heather Finch has spent her life building the bridges that link two worlds together.

As a child growing up in Chicago, Heather’s father sparked her love for narrative by taking the time to read stories together before he left for work every day. The city’s rich arts, culture, architecture and history further fueled her imagination and creativity, which would become the foundation of her career working with creative teams. She honed those skills working in production management for an animation studio.

After moving to Canada, Heather worked for World Vision, the country’s largest non-profit organization. As a creative project manager for their Brand and Creative team, she skillfully connected people, tasks and timelines to the goals of a project. She also led teams overseas to gather content for fundraising materials, bridging donors to beneficiaries through compelling stories. As a strategic communications manager for the Philanthropy team, she learned the power of bespoke communications when a major donor generously increased their multi-million-dollar giving by 300%, after receiving a concierge treatment for three years.

Whether it’s understanding the nuances between American and Canadian audiences, or the realities non-profit organizations face and the demands of creative teams, Heather knows how to effectively bridge the gap.

Heather created Delta Creative Solutions in 2019 to link fundraisers with creative solutions that change the landscape of philanthropy. She cares deeply about cause-driven work, partnering with others who do good in the world and building lasting relationships along the way.
